Someone Singing Along este al treilea single de pe discul The Afterlove, lansat de cântăreţul englez James Blunt în 2017.
Videoclipul piesei reuneşte imagini surprinse cu ajutorul dronei în zonele devastate de războiul sirian, izbucnit în 2011 şi care a ucis mai mult de jumătate de milion de oameni. Alte peste 12 milione de sirieni au fugit din calea armelor.
Scrise de James Blunt, alături Steve Robson şi Emily Warren, versurile invocă tragedia conflictelor şi efectele pe care acestea le au asupra relaţiilor dintre oameni.
Născut James Hillier Blount în 1974, cântăreţul s-a dedicat muzicii după o carieră militară în care a cunoscut ororile războiului.
James Blunt a cunoscut celebritatea cu hituri precum You’re Beautiful şi Goodbye My Lover, incluse pe albumul Back to Bedlam (2003). Au urmat All the Lost Souls (2007), Some Kind of Trouble (2010) şi Moon Landing (2013).
